Bull City Open Streets

Come out to Bull City Open Streets in downtown Durham this Sunday, May 1st from 12:00 – 3:00 pm to bike, walk, skate, scoot, and play while the streets are closed to cars for a few hours. Check out this map!

During Bull City Open Streets, roads around the Durham Farmer’s Market will be closed to car traffic, making active transportation easy and safe. Event highlights include:

  • Dance classes – Folk Style Waltz, Merengue, Salsa & Swing
  • Fitness classes – Hip hop dancing, QiGong, Yoga, & Zumba
  • Smoothies made with bicycle-powered blenders!
  • Fencing lessons and demonstration
  • Free bike repairs and tune-ups

Bull City Open Streets is taking place in coordination with Durham’s Earth Day Festival.
