NERP Householder Meetings

Neighborhood volunteers meet to learn how to reach out to neighbors.

The neighborhoods involved in Phase 1 of the Neighborhood Energy Retrofit Program (NERP) have recently held meetings for all the households that pre-qualified for the program.  We covered a great deal of Durham going around to these meetings!

Joan, in Hillside Park, invited us to attend their neighborhood cookout.  Donna, in Spring Valley, held a gathering at her home for the folks who have pre-qualified for the program.   Diana, in Lochaven, rounded up the neighbors to meet at the closest library branch, as did Mary in Tuscaloosa-Lakewood/Lakewood Park. Connie, in Colonial Village, found a great meeting room at her office and we held a session there.  Aggie, with East Durham, set up a meeting in Holton School.  It’s been very inspiring being part of all these neighborhoods coming together.
