All DATA buses go to Durham Station, a short walk from the Earth Day festival.

Durham’s annual Earth Day festival is coming to downtown this Saturday, April 24th, and you can get there without worrying about parking, traffic, or your carbon footprint! Durham Area Transit Authority (DATA) is offering free bus service all day on April 24th, and you can take the bus straight to the festival. It’s easy to take the bus

home, too, with departures every half hour on most buses until 7 p.m. You’ll get to see the beautiful Durham Station Transportation Center and enjoy the sleek new hybrid buses. Volunteers will be at Durham Station all day to guide you to the festival, which is a short walk away.

We’ll even plan your trip for you! Email jessalee@cleanenergydurham.org for free bus tips and trip planning, and you can visit www.gotriangle.org for online trip planning services and information about regional bus service. Type “Durham Station” as your destination. The festival is at the CCB plaza, from 12 p.m. to p.m.
