Participants at the starting line for last year's Great Human Race.

On Saturday, March 27, Clean Energy Durham will be walking in the Great Human Race to save energy and build community in Durham, and we need YOUR help.

Sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Durham to raise awareness and funds for area nonprofits, the event has become a popular spring event in Durham. Last year more than 3,000 individuals walked or ran for dozens of local organizations.

Clean Energy Durham has set a goal of raising $5,000 and recruiting at least 25 people to join our team of walkers or runners at the Race on March 27. We need your help to reach our goal. Bring your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to join our team and support Clean Energy Durham at the Great Human Race.

** Donate $25 now to help share energy education and build community throughout Durham. Invite your friends and family to contribute via this same link.

** Walk with us! There’s no charge to walk with us on race day. You don’t need to pre-register, but we’d love to know you’re coming so we can make sure you find our team. Please contact Marya via email or at 919.493.4775, to let us know you want to walk with us on race day.

If you have any question or are interested in paper registration fundraising materials (i.e. donation envelopes and pledge forms) please contact Marya.

See you on Race Day!
