Cool Spring Nights = Energy Savings Opportunity

Enjoying the spring weather?  Why not save some energy too!  In the springtime, even on hot days, the air usually cools down very quickly as the sun sets.  Consider holding off on turning on your air conditioning and try putting a box fan in a bedroom window, open another window to let the air circulate back out, and close your bedroom door.  Then turn the fan speed down when you go to bed so you don’t get too cold.

I was surprised to find how quickly my bedroom cooled and was comfortable—and I bet you will be surprised too!
